Jisu and I are planning another Park Walk Challenge and inviting your family to join us. This will involve gathering on 123rd street and walking to as many playgrounds as possible along the west side of Manhattan (heading downtown along Riverside Park) during the course of the day. We will play at each playground before proceeding to the next one. By the end of the walk, the kids will have had some fun with their friends, explored new places and walked several miles without even realizing it. We will stop for lunch along the way but please pack a water bottle and a favorite lunch for your child (and maybe you) in case they are hungry before or after our scheduled lunch stop or if they don’t like the lunch options nearby. I will arrange water bottle fill ups along the way.

We are thinking of running this on either Saturday September 29th OR Sunday September 30th. We will set off at 10am from the 123rd street entrance of Morningside Park. If you are interested, please indicate your date preference below and we will select the day that has the greater interest. If this weekend does not work out for you, we will be running another event during October or November. It quite possibly will be the 5 Borough Crossing where we cross from Manhattan into each borough by walking across a bridge or by ferry. We ran this two years ago and had a great time. If you can not participate and you wish to check if another parent can be responsible for your child during the walk, please contact me and I will let you know who else will be joining us.

Please contact me by text at [646] 233-1277 if you are interested in participating or have any questions.
